In Canada's single payer system, open lines of communication are essential. Unfortunately, these lines have eroded leaving doctors unable to effectively shape the healthcare system and their own profession. Denied the right to binding arbitration and job action, some physicians have organized to protest both for better treatment of medical professionals and patients. This painting depicts one of the first rallies held at Queen’s Park in Toronto, Ontario.
