We do this using ultrasound, mammography and MRI. This painting depicts a stereotactic guided breast biopsy using mammography. The physician is wearing sterile gloves leaning over the patient’s upper body and using a biopsy tool to take samples of the lesion found in her breast.The other two women are the technicians there to comfort the patient and aid in the procedure.
